This kit is the Kidco brand installation kit for installing any dog gate into "non-standard" surfaces. Gates are designed to be installed into solid, flat wood surfaces (all gates come pre-packaged with hardware for standard surfaces). This kit lets you install in non-flat surfaces like banisters, on wrought iron bars, and in drywall or on hollow walls. Click on the additional images to see examples of non-standard mountings.
One kit is required for each side of the gate that is not being mounted into a solid vertical wood surface. Basic tools and basic skills are all that is required to install this great installation kit for a great dog gate!
Not for use with Carlson Extra Tall gates.
