The Kidco Elongate Gate is a wall mounted, super-wide gate that fits openings 45 inches to 60 inches wide, and has a special one-hand release that allows the walk-through door to swing open in both directions. This extended gate will fit with virtually any decor and is an excellent choice for protecting large openings.
The gate is constructed of steel with a white, non-toxic coating that's easy to keep clean. Recommended for large hallways, and large areas such as living rooms and dining areas. It can also be used on the bottom of staircases, but is not recommended for the top of the stairs. Installed height is 29 3/4", and slat spacing is 2 5/8".
Each optional 24 inch extension increases the length by 2 foot increments up to a maximum 13 feet total (including the gate itself). For difficult to install areas, please see our custom installation kits in the "Gate Installation Kits" section or our site or try the Kidco K10 Installation Kit.
