Extensions are made of reinforced steel. All extensions are protected with a non-toxic plastic coating.
This optional 5.5" extension kit is designed to allow the Kidco Extra Tall Center Gateway to fit openings from 37" to 47 1/2".
Use one extension kit for openings from 37" to 42 1/2". Use two extensions for openings from 42 1/2" to 47 1/2".
The maximum opening is 73 1/2" when used in conjunction with 2 12.5" extension kits.
