When installed, the window guard allows safe opening of the window to provide fresh air during the seasonal months, while protecting your loved ones from falling through the opening. Easy to mount either on the inside of the window frame (bars depth is 3/4"); or on the outside of the window frame on the molding or wall surrounding the window. If you have a large opening, multiple guards can be "stacked": one on top of the other (for horizontally oriented bars) or side-by-side (for vertically oriented bars).
